Glovebox (Glove box)
The glovebox is a sealed, gas-tight containment made of
stainless steel or acrylic glass.
This containment allows a specific atmosphere to be established
(e.g. inert gas atmosphere) or for the isolation of gases
and materials from an internal or external atmosphere.
The glovebox interior may been viewed through windows
(Lexan resin, glass) and is served by means of special
integrated gloves.
The material transfer takes place by means of special
antechambers without influencing the glove box atmosphere.
MBRAUN offers modular
or customized gloveboxes for research, development and
production.
